About Auto4

Auto4 was formed by Bill Hewson, David Wager, Dennis Pusey and Michael Harris and was incorporated and commenced trading in 1984. All four shareholders had gained valuable tyre aftermarket experience at GKN Stenor.

Auto4 specialises in the supply of tyre equipment and consumable products to the tyre industry, whether that be car, commercial or earthmover.

Since those early days Auto4 has made significant progress, rapidly expanding its sales operation, negotiating to become the UK Distributor for the world renowned SICE equipment range, launching its own internal engineering function, developing both a telesales unit and an online capability, not to mention establishing a market leading reputation for quality and service.

Auto4 was acquired by Revolution Holdings in March 2005, at which time Jonathan Formon became its Managing Director.

In June 2007 Auto4 merged with Tyre Valve Specialists Limited (TVS).

TVS, a family business was founded by Alan Steward and incorporated in 1975, and initially specialised in the supply of products to the earthmover sector. This original heritage is still obvious today as we continue to manufacture specialist valves for some of the leading players in this industry. The business has moved on significantly since those first few years, expanding in to what has become its more traditional fast fit arena.

Adam Quincey became the Managing Director of TVS in 2000 and, as the business expanded, more people and space were required to support this growth. Eventually TVS outgrew its original space and moved to its present modern office and warehouse in 2004.

Auto4 is led by Jonathan Formon, Adam Quincey and Christine Steward.

Auto4 has significant resources which it uses to ensure its 5,000 customers receive unrivalled market leading service and value for money.
